To start off with, I apologize if there is a post on this already. Personally, I will say I have scoured this community and the internet regarding my "dilemma" but the answer changes from person to person so I decided to bite the bullet and make a potential repetitive post about it. For context, I'm 16 and I wanted to pursue a career in CS but with all the AI advancements and how it's getting easier to "vibecode" I decided to pivot towards something more hands on and embedded systems caught my eye. I know how to program I've been game developing on Roblox for years now and I know the basics of C. Three days ago I bought an elegoo ardunio starter kit to dip my feet into the embedded world and so far I have been having a pretty good time but I'm also realizing that I'm not learning much on the software end. I'm using these heavily abstracted functions and that brings me to my current concern on how I should properly learn and face the embedded concepts.…
