(File Photo) Pune is set to stay hot over the next few days, with maximum temperatures touching 41-42°C in Lohegaon and Koregaon Park, even as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a chance of thunderstorms and very light rain. On Saturday morning, temperatures in the city remained on the higher side at 24.3°C, after thunder made way for traces of rainfall in certain parts. Pashan and National Defence Academy (NDA), despite the tree cover, were only marginally cooler, at around 23.3°C. Chinchwad, Hadapsar, and Dapodi were among the warmest areas in the city, with the mercury crossing the 26°C mark. According to the IMD forecast, the maximum temperature in Shivajinagar, Pashan, and Magarpatta will be around 40°C on Sunday, rise by a degree on April 27, and then slide back to 40°C on April 29.…
