Check your pantries — popular snack mixes have been recalled over potential Salmonella contamination. Several varieties of snack mixes from the brands Fisher, Squirrel Brand, Southern Style Nuts and Target’s popular Good & Gather brand have been voluntarily recalled, according to a recall announcement issued by John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. and published by the Food and Drug Administration . Target’s popular Good & Gather brand has been affected by the slew of recalls due to potential Salmonella contamination. Christopher Sadowski The company said that the mixes contain a seasoning made by a third-party supplier that contained a dry milk powder that was previously recalled over possible salmonella contamination. Target’s Good & Gather Mexican Street Corn Trail Mix has been recalled. FDA The seasoning tested negative before being used in production, but the company is recalling the products out of an abundance of caution.…
