Hello everyone, first time ever posting...I got a Prophet X about 3 months ago, I've made a plethora of unreal sounds on it. I love the knob per function, it's so intuitive, I can get a deep, rich patch going on it pretty quick. As much as I've enjoyed having it in my studio, I feel like I'm spending a lot of time making weird patches rather than actually committing time to composing/producing music. It takes up my entire desk, so my midi controller and SP have just been sitting in a corner. I also feel like the $2300 I spent put a pretty deep hole in my pocket.
I have Ableton suite and a bunch of different samples, (I make ambient, downtempo, cinematic), does anyone think I could make a similar structure in Ableton that's just as powerful and versatile? I'm really torn figuring out if it's worth the price and space it takes up on my desk.
Tldr : I've fallen in love with Prophet X but I don't know if I can justify the price/size. Can I recreate a similar structure in Ableton?
