Yum Brands has partnered with tech company Nvidia to accelerate the development and deployment of artificial intelligence across its restaurant network. As the technology company’s first restaurant partner, Yum Brands will use Nvidia’s software to enhance its proprietary technology system , known as Byte . Following early pilots at selected Pizza Hut and Taco Bell locations, the company plans a broader rollout to approximately 500 stores—including KFC and Habit Burger units—during the second quarter. The collaboration focuses primarily on three operational areas: voice AI for drive-thrus and call centers, computer vision for operational analysis, and restaurant-level data analytics .
