Alexander Jacobs currently serves as the Acting Executive Director to Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC). Alexander was previously detailed from United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to HSAC as a Senior Director from 2022 to 2024. He started his federal career with USCIS as an Intelligence Research Specialist in 2007 and worked as a Fraud Detection and National Security Immigration Officer in USCIS from 2011 to 2022. He received a Secretary’s Award for Excellence in 2018 for his work as part of the Refugee Admissions Integrity Team implementing a number of initiatives to enhance integrity and security of the process.
He has a Master of Strategic Intelligence from National Intelligence University and a Master of Arts in Security Policy from George Washington University. He also has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eckerd College in Florida.
