Short Travel Brakes - Hope Evo TR4 vs x2 Have a 130/120 short travel XC bike with 180/160 rotors. Looking at switching from Hayes Dominion A2s to Hope Evo brakes. Last season I ran Dubnitals front/rear, this year Trinotal front, Dub rear. Am I going to be locking that rear dub up with a feathered touch on a TR4? Seeing as I'm coming from Hayes A2s, would X2 front and rear be enough? They have the benefit of being lighter and cheaper. I'm in Michigan, so we don't really have long sustained descents, and even when I've traveled out of state I haven't experienced brake fade with the A2s.…
