Yurav Premlall stormed to a record-breaking 14-shot victory as he clinched his first DP World Tour title at the Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship. The South African began the day five shots clear at the top of the leaderboard before firing a second successive 63 to break the record for the biggest winning margin for a maiden DP World Tour win. The 22-year-old finished the week on 28 under par, 14 ahead of his nearest challenger – countryman Shaun Norris – on 14 under. England’s Dan Bradbury finished in a tie for sixth on 12 under. That winning margin was just one shot short of the overall record, set by Tiger Woods as he romped to the US Open at Pebble Beach in 2000.
