Robert “Bob” Luther Morris October 13, 1940 – April 13, 2026 Robert “Bob” Luther Morris, 85, of Trout Creek, Montana, passed away on April 13, 2026. Born October 13, 1940, in Bakersfield, California, to Harry Newton Morris and Thelma Jean Hart, Bob spent his early years in Bass Lake near Yosemite National Park, where he was raised by his devoted grandmother, Edna Sullivan Jackson, “Mother Babe.” He later moved to Fresno, graduated from Roosevelt High School, attended Fresno State College, and served in the United States Navy. Bob was known for his warmth, wit, and entrepreneurial spirit. He worked in sales, insurance, real estate, and business ownership, including founding R. L. Morris and Associates in Colorado and owning two restaurants in Torrey, Utah. Faith was the foundation of his life. Bob served in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in many callings, including Elders Quorum President, Stake Clerk, Stake Executive Secretary, and High Councilman.…
