HOUSTON — This one hurts. The Mariners lost a two-run lead, lost a stranglehold over their No. 1 rival and lost another game they should have won Wednesday night. Worst of all, they lost their star catcher to a recurring injury that might just keep Cal Raleigh down for awhile. Raleigh left the game after he appeared to aggravate an injury to his right side in the eighth inning, and two innings later the Astros walked away with a 4-3 victory at Daikin Park to snap the Mariners’ nine-game winning streak over Houston and spoil Bryce Miller’s reassuring return to the rotation. Just as things were slowly starting to look up for Raleigh and the Mariners, the All-Star catcher could be looking at the first trip to the injured list of his career. Raleigh declined an interview request postgame Wednesday, preferring to talk Thursday.
