ITF vs Chang Hun TKD? Hellos! Not seeking advice on finding a dojang. I got my 9th Gup in ITF at the end of March at my university, and my hometown is about 4/5 hrs away. I’m home for the summer because the economy does not warrant me staying in the city. Problem: there are no ITF schools in my city. The closest is two hours away, but, there is a Chang Hun tkd dojang. From what I can tell online, Chang Hun is the pen name of General Choi, so it’s technically/probably ITF, but there’s also multiple different strands of ITF (3 on Wikipedia)? My teacher at uni is an ITF international accredited teacher, referee, and judge. I don’t really want to take WT classes at home so that I don’t develop differing habits/techniques because my muscle memory is hard to shake out of. I also really like the symbolism and theory in ITF with sinewave and the pattern names and such. Is the Chang Hun close enough? I’m going to call the dojang later today and see what they think.…
