EXCLUSIVE: Will Patton is set as a lead opposite Matt Dillon in MGM+’s upcoming drama series The Magnificent Seven from  Heroes  creator Tim Kring, a reimagining of the classic 1960 Western film. Patton, the star of Kevin Costner’s Horizon: An American Saga movies and Armageddon, joins the cast as ruthless baron Cyrus T. Clemons to Dillon’s seven gunslingers leader Chris Adams. While Dillon’s Adams character was portrayed by Yul Brynner in the original 1960 film, Patton’s Clemons character is new to the series. Clemons is confident, swaggering and convinced of his own destiny in the 1880s American frontier-set series. Before the Civil War, he was a humble music teacher. But after surviving the horrific battle of the Bloody Angle, he came out the other side realizing the world is made up of winners and losers, and he was bound and determined to come out on top, no matter the cost. He eventually meets his wife Beatrice and they cross the country.…
