Community Medical Professionals, What Are Your Wildest “Why Didn’t You Come In Sooner!?” Stories? In our defense, making doctor’s appointments is literally the hardest thing to do. Sometimes, things go on with your body, and you wonder, "Hmm, maybe I should get this looked at by a doctor?" You might look at WebMD or take to the boards of Reddit to see if other people have experienced a similar thing. Before you know it, months pass by. Whatever your malady is, it's getting worse, and you still haven't let your doc take a look. Maybe you put it off because healthcare is too damn expensive, or maybe you feel embarrassed that you let it go on so long, or maybe you just hate making phone calls to schedule appointments (me, lol). By the time you make it into your doctor's office, things have gotten bad bad, and your provider is like, "Um, excuse me, WTF is going on, please? Why didn't you come in weeks ago?"
