I’m planning to go from Ordesa to Cauterets over 5/6 days in a couple of weeks and I’m not sure what is and isn’t needed. I plan to sleep at around 2000m or lower, I understand the French side is a little more relaxed on wild camping and plan on staying by refugios while in Spain, but is this doable? I’m a little worried about fines. Im certainly not a true ultralight hiker but this groups seems to be full of some very experienced people and I’m hoping you may help.
