PARIS — The Dior Suite is returning to pamper international celebrities at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Guests to the 79th edition will find, on the sixth floor of the Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic, a sweeping, 3,770-square-foot suite decorated to conjure up the atmosphere of a Riviera view, with shades of sky blue mixed with white. There are stripes, and a gallery of characters who seem to be attending a masked ball. The Dior Masquerade couture motif winks to the art of film costume design and gleaned inspiration from Christian Bérard’s illustrations for Christian Dior. Related Articles Celebrities to have already been pampered at the suite include house ambassadors Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron, Johnny Depp and Robert Pattinson. There have also been Camille Cottin, Raphaël Quenard and Carla Bruni, among others. The stripes line the suite’s floors and walls, as well.
