The Clark County coroner’s office has identified the teen killed in a North Las Vegas crash , where police said a man sped through a red light. Police said Triquan Hughs, 31, was driving recklessly on Simmons Street and, as he approached Craig Road, lost control of his SUV, colliding with another vehicle, a utility pole, and two pedestrians. Seventeen-year-old Janiah Gant died. The other pedestrian, identified on GoFundMe as 19-year-old Leilani Wigfall, was critically injured. Hughes was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving causing death or substantial bodily harm, child abuse and driving without a valid license. In the fundraiser post, a relative, Alisha Dillon, said that Wigfall faces a long road to recovery. “She will need extensive medical care, including rehabilitation, multiple surgeries, and dental reconstruction after losing all of her teeth in the accident,” Dillon said.…
