Would You Hire a Software Engineer Without a Bachelor's Degree?

I have been thinking about this question a lot recently. Would companies in Europe or other countries consider hiring someone like me? Not because I lack experience. Not because I lack passion. Not because I lack technical ability. But because I do not have a bachelor's degree. My Background I am an Associate Tech Lead based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, with over 7 years of experience in software engineering. I started my higher education journey at s Sri Lankan university, studying Software Engineering. During my first two years, I maintained a 3.93/4.00 GPA , received a full scholarship , and was recognized on the Dean’s List in all four semesters . However, I dropped out during my third year due to personal reasons. That decision changed my path, but it did not stop my journey in software engineering. I later completed a Master’s in Software Engineering from Kingston University London , through a campus in Colombo.…
