The Knights must forfeit a second-round pick in this year’s NHL Draft, and coach John Tortorella has been fined $100,000 for not speaking to the media postgame at Honda Center following the Knights’ 5-1 win over the Ducks. pic.twitter.com/Y8Y2pLQliG — Vegas Golden Knights (@GoldenKnights) May 15, 2026 The ruling comes after “previous warnings were issued” to the Knights, according to the league, regarding “compliance with the Media Regulations and other associated policies.” The Knights will have an opportunity to appeal to commissioner Gary Bettman.
