As Brendan Fraser prepares to send another mummified baddie to its tomb, he’s getting back in touch with his adventure-prone character Rick O’Connell after 20 years. Following news that the Oscar winner is reprising his role in the fourth installment of The Mummy franchise, Fraser noted that he’s “doing my best” to get in shape for the Universal sequel. “Well, we’re gonna get the band back together,” he confirmed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon . “The only way to do it. So, we are going to give the audience what they have been bothering all of us for, for the last twenty-whatever years.” Fraser added of the long-anticipated sequel, “I was hopeful for a long while, and then I was like, ‘I don’t know if they are.’ Then other Mummy movies got made.
