Social media influencer Neelam Singh, who uses a handle by the name of Skin Doctor, has been arrested by the Delhi Police on Wednesday for allegedly posting ‘defamatory’ tweets against late businessman Sunjay Kapur’s family, sources in the police said. The arrest comes against the backdrop of an inheritance battle playing out in courts among Sunjay’s family members. The Supreme Court on Tuesday had remarked that the high-stakes family saga would make even the Mahabharat look small. Singh was arrested on Wednesday, after a case under sections of theft, defamation and IT Act was registered, following a complaint by Kapur’s lawyers, police said.
