Situated on the edge of Venice’s Grand Canal , the Scoletta Battioro e Tiraoro di Venezia is tucked beside the Baroque Church of San Stae . Once the home of a gold smithing school and later a Venetian antiques dealer, the storied space has once again been transformed, this time by British artist Arch Hades . Timed to the 61st Venice Biennale, the solo exhibition “ Arch Hades: Return | Ritorno ,” produced with support from the Erarta Foundation , is anchored by a suite of site-specific paintings and complemented by sculptures and an installation soundscape, together creating an immersive atmosphere that invites viewers to explore the line between interior, psychological worlds and physical reality.
