EXCLUSIVE: The Chief Financial Officer of UK agency Curtis Brown is exiting after a decade. The 125-year-old agency, which reps the likes of Ncuti Gatwa, Robert Pattinson and Margaret Atwood, confirmed Simon Flamank ‘s exit after he was terminated as director on Companies House late last month. Flamank, a respected figure in the world of TV and film industry finance, has been with UTA -owned Curtis Brown since 2016. We understand he is leaving shortly to pursue his passions and doesn’t have another role lined up. Succession plans will be announced in due course. Flamank was with Curtis Brown during a period of change. He helped navigate the agency during the Covid-19 pandemic and would have been front and center of Curtis Brown’s acquisition by American agency UTA for around £43M ($58.6M ) in 2022.
