I’m seeing more companies (including several in my industry) framing "one day in the office" as this amazing flexibility perk. To me, it feels like they are just testing the waters to see how much pushback they get before making it three days, and then eventually five.
As a professional in my 30s, I’ve already proven I can manage technical projects and lead teams across time zones without being physically in a cubicle.
Are you guys seeing these "anchored" days actually improving collaboration, or is it just a day of sitting on Zoom calls from a more uncomfortable chair?
