Following his pop-up in New York City , Isaiah Rashad is bringing his It’s Been Awful pop-up to Complex Los Angeles. On Saturday, May 9, Rashad will host a pop-up shop in L.A. at Complex LA (433 N Fairfax, 90048), celebrating his first studio album in five years, It’s Been Awful . The event will feature exclusive music and merch, including the limited edition variants designed by visual artist Steven Harrington, to coincide with the release of the TDE artist’s new record , and fans can RSVP here . It’s Been Awful arrived after a long gap from the TDE rapper, who last released a full-length project with the label in 2021. The record features appearances from his labelmate SZA, Julian Sintonia, and Dominic Fike. Speaking about the project with Vice in the lead-up to its release, Rashad revealed that the album was influenced by a wide variety of artists, drawing from Prince and OutKast, as well as newer talents such as Pluto and Bunna B.…
