Recently moved into new build. Main floor is entirely LVP (Chesapeake Essentials Plus Keystone). It was on the lower end of the price scale but well reviewed and we didn't notice any issues when we selected it. After moving in, we immediately noticed it was extremely slippery. Dog walks like he's on ice, humans in socks slide around like crazy. Builder says it's not their problem. Floor supplier says they've never heard of complaints and can't do anything. We believe that any rational, unbiased person will see/feel what's going on and agree it's a safety risk - as has been validated by the handful of visitors we've had. Any recommendations on what to do or who to take this up with? Is there some sort of metric we should be targeting for grip/friction? Currently we are using a lot of rugs, which we don't want to do. Floor supplier recommended putting down anti-slip floor coating, which we also don't want to do. Is our only option wholesale replacement?
