Tensions were running hot at Watkins Glen. During a race on Sunday in upstate New York, drivers Bubba Wallace and Christopher Bell were at each other’s throats at Go Bowling at The Glen on Mother’s Day. Bell appeared to be the calmer of the two as Wallace was visibly upset, walked away, and then came back for more and got into Bell’s face as crew members and technicians watched on. NASCAR The issue appears to be tied to Wallace being called to pit road as Bell and driver Todd Gilliland were on his bumper with eight laps to go. A miscommunication while in pit row, as Bell pulled alongside Wallace appeared to be the source of frustration. Wallace wound up finishing 29th, while Bell finished 21st.
