A person went on a rampage at an east Las Vegas shopping complex Friday, attempting to stab a person in front of a grocery store and then using a vehicle to repeatedly ram a nearby ambulance, police said. The Metropolitan Police Department said they were called just after 11:40 a.m. to the shopping center in the 4900 block of East Sahara Avenue at Nellis Boulevard. “The suspect exited a vehicle and attempted to stab an individual in a business parking lot,” police said in an email. “The individual was able to safely get away from the suspect.” Police did not identify the business, but a Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter observed crime scene tape stretched around a portion of the parking lot in front of a Smith’s grocery store. The suspect then got back into the vehicle and drove to another area of the complex parking lot where they “ rammed a parked ambulance, multiple times,” police said.…
