Best way to sell 1927 Steinway baby grand? Hello pianists! I searched this sub and found some discussion but not anything horribly recent so I'm hoping to ask for advice. My parents are downsizing and want to re-home their 1927 Steinway. It was originally purchased in 1927 in Philadelphia (we actually have the original bill of sale!) and inherited by my parents from a family friend in the 90s (and 'restored' per my parents, though they don't recall how extensive the restoration was). It was regularly serviced/maintained probably until 2005ish but I dont think it's been touched since. It has been out of direct sun, in a 'normal' house with heat/AC/not exposed to temperature extremes or moisture. They would be most interested in someone getting it who would love it and use it (less interested in getting the absolute "top dollar").…
