She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted educator whose life reflected a deep love for God and for the students she served. Donna Kaye Bland (Diedtrich) was born on September 5, 1946, in Mobridge, SD, to Alma Allmendinger and Jacob Diedtrich. She grew up in and near Selby, SD where she graduated from high school. She later earned her Bachelor and Masters degrees in Secondary Education from Northern State Teachers College in 1970, preparing for a calling that would shape countless lives. A woman of steadfast faith, Donna loved the Lord and sought to live by His Word. She was a faithful member of Fountain Springs Church in Rapid City for over 25 years, where she served with the women's Bible study, prayer team and volunteer efforts.
