Hey guys, I'm at a crossroads. I’m about to start a professional AI/Data Science course. I'm choosing a laptop for the next 3-4 years.
My budget points towards the MacBook Air M3 with 16GB RAM. I know ML usually happens in the cloud, but I want to be able to prototype and run smaller models locally.
- Does the thermal throttling on the Air significantly impact model training?
Appreciate any advice from devs who use an Air for work!
