Hi everyone, I hope it’s okay to ask here. I’m a university student from Italy, but lately I’ve been feeling like university isn’t the right path for me. At the same time, the only jobs I’ve found here are underpaid and often informal, so I’ve started seriously considering moving abroad. Recently I’ve been looking into Germany and Netherlands possible options but any place would be good(i have European citizenship). However, I’m still trying to understand how realistic it is to actually make the move starting from zero. From what I’ve read, finding a job (especially entry-level) might not be too difficult, but housing seems to be one of the biggest challenges. So I wanted to ask people who have real experience there: Do you think it’s still realistic to build a stable life in another country starting from basic jobs as a foreigner? What is the most common way to find housing at the beginning? Is it realistic to find a room without already having a permanent contract?…
