Should I go for 5800xt vs 5900xt I'm in the process of upgrading my current gaming pc. I am only planning on getting a new gpu and cpu, leaving my motherboard alone. I have a x570 board that has a AM4 chip with 32gb of drr4 ram, and I just purchased a 9070xt gpu to replace my one 5700xt. I've been looking online and everybody recommends getting the 5800x3d as a cpu due to the higher cache size that it has, and trust me if I could I would. However, these chips don't exist at any price range lower than $600. I was planning on just going with the 5800xt instead, however I found a deal where a 5900xt was only $20 than the 5800xt. I see that it has a slower 3.3GHz processor, but it does have a larger cache size of 72MB, which most people list the larger cache size on the 5800x3d is what makes it worth it. Most things I read online state the 5900xt isn't usually worth it due to it's larger price tag, but at this price I didn't know if this larger cache was worth it with the slower processor speed.…
