Yesterday me and the boys went to Sunset Hill Shooting Range in the Poconos (P.A.) for part of the bachelor party. I am not an avid shooter by any stretch and recently just purchased my first firearm. A Sig P220 Elite. Although I’m not an avid shooter (yet) I have some experience shooting and love watching YouTube channels about proper grip and aiming techniques. I’ve been to a couple machine gun shoots in pa with the opportunity to fire a couple different full auto platforms and the Barrett and Desert Eagle. So I’m not a complete stranger. At the range yesterday they had a wide variety of firearms to choose from. I paid to shoot the desert eagle. The target in the desert eagle booth is 30 yards steel plate like a dinner plate. Not sure of the exact size but a typical target you see. I had 7 rounds and was able to hit the target, 30 yards twice with the DE iron sights I’m pretty excited about it and proud of myself. I guess what I’m wondering is how good is that? Is that as impressive as it feels?…
