DDG ’s latest appearance on Wild’n Out took a personal turn during his rap battle with Nick Cannon. The rapper and streamer, who’s appeared on the show before, got into a comedic freestyle battle with Cannon. Cannon kicked off the battle with a playful jab at DDG being a streamer, telling him, “You can stream these nuts.” Cannon relayed to the audience that the joke was all in good fun, explaining afterward, “I’m jealous because y’all are making more money than me, that’s all.” After Cannon’s bar, DDG decided to bring up Nick’s kids, a common joke topic on the show. “Nick doing this show to pay child support / But he really should wild’n abort,” he rapped. Once DDG went there, Cannon decided to go even deeper. “Talk about my kids, yeah that’s fine / But at least my baby mama let’s me see mine,” he rapped, referencing DDG’s parental and visitation struggles with Halle Bailey the mother of his son Halo.
