Two men have been stabbed during a dance music event in Birmingham, with police launching a major investigation. West Midlands Police have said officers were called to Lower Trinity Street in Digbeth, Birmingham on Saturday evening (May 9), shortly before 7pm after reports that two people had suffered stabbing injuries at the ‘Cru2: The Birmingham Shutdown’ event. Both men were taken to hospital, and their injuries have been described as not life-threatening. No arrests have yet been confirmed by police, with detectives remaining at the scene to carry out inquiries. The large outdoor event featured a range of bassline, drum ‘n’ bass and UK garage acts, including Mozey, Mist, Basslayerz, DJ Q and Jamie Duggan.
