As if a jam-packed tour schedule wasn’t already enough, David Byrne continues to be a busy rock icon with a new remix of “What Is the Reason for It?” from 2025’s Who Is the Sky? , a recent reunion with St. Vincent at New Orleans Jazz Fest, and the announcement of tour dates in Mexico. In the new music department, Byrne has released “¿Cuál Es La Razón?,” a charming little reimagining of the “What Is the Reason for It?” produced by Mexican Institute Of Sound. The track sees Mexican singer Natalia Lafourcade take over for Byrne’s previous collaborator, Paramore’s Hayley Williams. This Latin-infused pop ballad certainly lives up to its predecessor, and its exploration of the “enduring mysteries of love” hums with all-new life. Check it out below.
