Dude. It was excellent. We did a 6+ mile day hike. I was worried about carrying enough water with the temps and humidity but I remembered I bought a neoprene sleeve with a loop on it for my Nalgene that I attached to the hip belt in addition to the smaller water bottle I stashed in the mesh pocket. Nothing pulling on my shoulders/neck, still had room enough for snacks, simplified first aid kit, keys, phone, and probably a soft sided 16oz water bottle.
