I’ve received an offer for my family (husband and 3 kids) and I to move to Singapore from Abu Dhabi. Currently have a very nice lifestyle in AD, and I’ve never been to Singapore. Can anyone else who has made the move advise roughly the ‘uplift’ needed on salary given the increased cost of living in Singapore? Currently earn 650k AED ($225k SGD) a year plus schooling for 3 kids is paid for (150k AED / $52k SGD). The offer is for $400-$450k SGD’ and having never been to Singapore, I’m struggling to work out if taxes, schooling and cost of living will essentially make the move not worth it financially.
