There’s a conversation men aren’t having. And the silence is doing more damage than the insecurity itself.

Size. Duration. Performance.

These three words carry more unspoken weight in men’s lives than most people realise. Not because every man is walking around in crisis. But because somewhere between jokes and internet benchmarks, a standard gets installed quietly, early and most men never stop to question whether it was ever real.

When the first draft got rejected, I didn’t just fix the writing. I started reading. Actual research. And what I found reframed the way I think about this entirely.

A study in the Journal of Sexual Medicine puts the number at 9 to 25 percent, up to one in four people experience sexual performance anxiety.

Not just men. People. That was the first correction.

This isn’t a male-only problem. But the silence around it…
