EXCLUSIVE: Bangkok-based production house Film Frame Productions is launching international sales on The Resident , an upcoming horror film from Thai Fighters co-director Chaiwat Sitalasai , here in Cannes.  ‘Pie’ Rinrada Kaewbuasai and Toomtam Yuttana star in the film, which is currently in post-production for a theatrical release in the fourth quarter of 2026. The story follows a girl training to be a carer who inadvertently tells her indebted boyfriend about a rich patient living in a large mansion. The boyfriend and his friend come up with the idea to rob the house, but once inside, they find that not all is as expected.  Chaiwat previously directed horror film Night Shift , also due for release this year, and co-directed martial arts action film Thai Fighters with Tawatchai Ladloy.
