Hey, been dealing with serious eye strain and headaches using Linux on my MSI Cyborg 15 A13V (Intel i7 13th gen, RTX 4060). Tried both Fedora and Pop!_OS, same issue on both. No problems at all on Windows. The weird thing is I used Ubuntu in my college lab on machines with no dedicated GPU and had zero eye strain. So I'm guessing it's something to do with the hybrid GPU setup on Linux defaulting to Nvidia driving the display instead of Intel. Already checked — the panel itself (AUO B156HAN15.1) is PWM-free so that's not the issue. Has anyone dealt with this? Is forcing Intel iGPU to drive the display with prime-select intel the right move here? Any other things I should try? submitted by /u/RootOverLord [link] [comments]
