dear RimWorld community, i am still to this day an evangelist for this game. i have over a thousand hours played in my steam library. i have tamed every muffalo, butchered every humanlike, built thriving colonies of 50+, and enjoyed untold numbers of stories. I still remember how I felt after my first colony failed. I had a genuine pang of remorse when I read that Matthew was unhappy because "my friend Mark died". Between Kat's Jade artwork of a raccoon attacking Rocky at sunset and my millionth mechanoid invasion, i decided to start working on a gravity simulator. it's been my every waking moment for these past months, and I'm so excited to share it with you today. after building a procedurally generated solar system generator where you can dilate the flow of time at will, I built my own little colony into it. they could only do simple stuff to start - but then they got more advanced. i added textures, color, station building, and everything else a thriving colony needs to exist.…
