15s threshold

That's the question I ask myself when I'm stuck, and most of the time it's clarifying. I've gotten a whole lot more picky about things I choose to bring into the house, so it's easy to picture myself considering this or that object and putting it back on the shelf in the store. If I wouldn't buy it, I shouldn't keep it. Related -- I often have the experience of putting on clothes, looking in the mirror, and thinking, "If I tried this on at the store, I'd never buy it." Out it goes. submitted by /u/sleepingbeardune [link] [comments]
