David Lindsay-Abaire’s five-time Tony nominee The Balusters will extend its Broadway run at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre for an additional two weeks through Sunday, June 21, producers announced today. A Manhattan Theatre Club production, The Balusters is directed by Kenny Leon and features Marylouise Burke, Kayli Carter, Ricardo Chavira, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Margaret Colin, Michael Esper, Maria-Christina Oliveras, Anika Noni Rose, Richard Thomas and Jeena Yi. On Monday, the production was named Outstanding New Broadway Play by the 2026 Outer Critics Circle Awards.
