We are having our bathroom remodeled . The contractor grouted in this drain cover … I have long hair and often need to put a drain cleaning hook down to pull out a clog . I used to have a drain cover that had screws that came off and it lifted up so I could clean the pipe . This looks like it is supposed to pop off as it has tans in the corners , but he grouted it in and it’s sealed shut . Is this something that can be easily changed ? I fear that if I make him change this out , the concrete shower floor will crack and I will forever have a leaking problem . Any advice appreciated.
