A “CBS Evening News” cameraman collapsed during a live broadcast Wednesday night after suffering an apparent “medical emergency” offscreen. The cameraman could be heard falling while “Evening News” host Tony Dokoupil was providing updates on the US-China summit from the network’s perch in Taiwan. “You will hear a lot about the rise of a powerful new China — is he okay?” Dokoupil asked halfway through his closing while the rest of the stunned crew stayed silent. A cameraman suffered a “medical emergency” during the CBS “Evening News” broadcast on Wednesday night. CBS “We’re gonna take a quick break.
