She was a bit tongue-tied at first. Later, of course, she chided herself on what else she could have said, apart from that the performance was beautiful. And when asked “What else did you like about it the best?” she had responded “The Dancers” – she had meant the ballerinas, of course. At the start, when the interviewer had asked her how she had liked the performance, she had begun by saying that it was her first time at the Classical Ballet. Somehow, she had been taken by surprise when the elderly interviewer chose her for the exchange. After all, she was a foreigner, visibly so.…
