We’ve seen a lot of leaks and rumours about the phone in the past couple of months, but it looks like the Japanese tech giant’s finally decided to tease us a bit more before the phone’s big debut. More specifically, Sony posted a new teaser trailer on its official YouTube page, which gives us a tiny glimpse at the Xperia 1 VIII’s revamped camera island. Sony’s looking to shake things up a bit for the new flagship, which will feature a drastic change in camera design compared to its predecessors. The video also shares a date for the official launch event, which is scheduled to take place on 13th May, 2026 11:00 Japan/4:00 CEST.
