My visit to the Hong Kong United Club brought back happy memories from decades past and is one of the best United Clubs in the system. United Club Hong Kong Review (HKG) Prior to my flight to Bangkok, I had about an hour in United’s HKG United Club, which shuttered during the pandemic but re-opened in 2025 . I first visited this lounge nearly 20 years ago and it was nice to return after so many years. Location + Hours + Access After clearing security, prepare for a long walk (my preferred method) or train ride to the lounge, which is near gate 60 in terminal 1. You’ll find the lounge on level L7: follow the signs for the United Club and AMEX lounge and you’ll find the up an elevator. This is a Star Alliance Gold lounge so all Star Alliance Gold passengers departing from Hong Kong in any class of service enjoyed access (plus one guest). Star Alliance business class (no guests) and first class passengers (one guest) also can access this lounge, as can United Club members and Chase United Club Visa holders.…
