Healthcare data is among the most sensitive information a system can hold. Patient records, diagnostic results, treatment histories, and genomic data are not just private — they are regulated by laws that carry serious penalties for mishandling. HIPAA in the United States, GDPR in Europe, and Nigeria's NDPR all impose strict requirements on how healthcare data must be collected, stored, processed, and shared. Security in healthcare is not something you add after the product works. It must be woven into every layer of the system from the first line of code.
